Against One’s Better Judgement

Against one’s better judgement they accept and submit themselves to the capitalistic nature of humanity ︎

The ambiguous nature of the film intends to open doors for many allegorical interpretations of the dialogue within the film's narrative. One could say a demon or perhaps a messiah tempts the human with the promise of saving the planet with omnicide, which against their better judgement, the human does not commit. A lighter interpretation could be that despite knowing that a change of behaviour could end the misery of the planet, and despite their eco-anxiety, the human does not act once again, against their better judgement they accept and submit themselves to the capitalistic nature of humanity.
